WEST CHAZY, NY— Kenneth J. "Pito" Garrand, 76, of the Military Turnpike, passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 at CVPH Medical Center.

He was born in Mooers on August 14, 1942 the son of Alex and Rose (Nephew) Garrand.

Survivors include his sisters, Clarabelle Varin, West Chazy, where he has lived for several years, and Patricia (Donnie) Perkins, Chazy; brother, Ronald Garrand, Plattsburgh, and Bobby (Joan) Garrand, Mooers; sisters-in-law, Beverly Garrand, Altona, and Marie Garrand, Althoa, MA; brother-in-law James Tatro, Mooers; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Arthur, Henry, Leonard, Maurice, Gary and Donald; sisters, Judy Tatro and Audrey Dubray; brothers-in-law Theodore Varin and Lyle Baillargeon.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.
