PLATTSBURGH – Kim Johnson Trombley, 65, of Grigware Road, passed away, December 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 17, 1957 daughter of Edward and Phillis (Burke) Castine.
Kim graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 1975 and later attended Our Lady of Victory Secretarial School.
Kim worked at many different places throughout the North Country including Christ Child School, the Plattsburgh Foundry, the Clinton County Sheriff's Department and CV Tech. She also was co-owner of D. Leemik Construction Company.
Kim enjoyed spending time in her tomato garden, canning, and watching football. Above all else, she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and hosting Sunday/Holiday gatherings and shopping with her loving mother.
Survivors include her husband Michael Trombley who she married November 5, 2011; her children, Nicholas Caron, Tucker Caron (Kelsie Bradish), Daryl (Laael) Johnson, Jr., David Johnson, and Leahan (Craig) Staley; mother, Phyllis Castine; step-children, Michelle (Matt) Lawrence, Haley (Matt) Arnold, and Cody (Courtney) Trombley; siblings, Judy (Greg) Mills, Susan (Tom) McGowan, Gary (Carrie) Castine, Marcie (Mike) Tompkins, and Edward (Darlene) Castine, Jr.; grandchildren, Madox Johnson, Coen Johnson, Madison Caron, Haiden Caron, Taylor Caron, Cooper Caron, Dan Staley, Rylea Staley, Ryker Trombley, Sophee Trombley, Yazmine Lawrence, Madilyn Lawrence, and Ethan Lawrence; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kim was predeceased by her father; husbands, Daryl Johnson, Sr. and Danny Caron; and brother, Jerry Castine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Those attending are requested to bring their favorite picture of Kim to be placed on a board to be kept by the family.
Burial will take place in the spring in Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
