PLATTSBURGH--- Laurette E. Beaudette, 83, of Glen Dr. Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 with her beloved family by her side at CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Grand Isle VT., on November 7, 1935 the daughter of Fred and Jennie (Blow) Dubuque. Laurette married Thomas Beaudette on June 2, 1956 at St. Joseph's Church in Burlington VT. Laurette worked for the government for 30 years, was a proud Marine Corps wife and loved taking care of her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ret. Sgt. Maj. USMC Thomas Beaudette of Plattsburgh; two sons, Stephen and Katherine Beaudette of Plattsburgh, Jeffrey Beaudette of Plattsburgh; a daughter, Kimberly and Patrick Collins of Old Saybrook, CT; a sister, Bertha and Loren Groff of Fairfax, VT., sister-in-law, Florence Dubuque of Springfield, MA.; grandchildren Chris and Heather Beaudette, Stephen and Amanda Beaudette Jr, Jennifer and Ira Frimere and Jaclyn Collins; great-grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Julianna, Lucas, Ty, Benjamin and Kelly; several nieces and nephews.
Laurette was predeceased by her parents, a son, Thomas Beaudette; brothers, Preston Dubuque, Earl Dubuque, Frederick Dubuque, Howard Dubuque; sisters, Emelda Lauricella, Constance Rasmussen, Marie Dubuque, and Viola Goddette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 2pm at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1pm at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Donations may be made in memory of Laurette to the American Lung Association.
