PLATTSBURGH- Lawrence "Larry" R. Paola, 87, of Plattsburgh, passed away at his home Thursday, September 10, 2020.

He was born and grew up in Bound Brook, NJ on October 6, 1932, the son of Ralph and Anna (Grasso) Paola.

He retired in 1994 and following year he and his wife Ann Marie moved to the North Country where they enjoyed twenty-five active years together. They hiked the Adirondacks, snowshoed, cross-country skied, swimming at the Y, and bicycle rides. They also became members of the Italian American Club and the North Country Squares. He not only enjoyed playing golf, but would anticipate the season by watching tournaments on Television. He especially enjoyed traveling with his wife all over the world.
