WEST CHAZY- Leeroy H. Pelkey, 73, of Stony Acres Drive, passed away on March 13, 2024 at the Elizabethtown Hospital.

He was born in Plattsburgh on April 16, 1950 the son of Arnold and Ruth (Rock) Pelkey.

Leeroy was employed as a custodian at Clinton County Government Center retiring after many years.

He enjoyed watching Westerns and wrestling and especially tinkering around and fixing old VCR's and TV's.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Erno Pelkey; sons, Andrew Cante, Brandon Pelkey and Shawn Pelkey; step-daughter, Carrie Modelle; siblings, Richard Pelkey, Robert (Margaret) Pelkey, William (Mary) Pelkey, Michael Pelkey, Larry Pelkey, Harold Pelkey, Barb (Raymon) Stiffler, George (Candi) Pelkey, Gerald (Marie) Pelkey, grandson, Landon Modelle, granddaughter, Avery Modelle and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by siblings, Peter Pelkey, Mary Pelkey, Susan Hart and Donald Pelkey.

At Leeroy's request, there will be no services.
