PLATTSBURGH---- Lenora R. Purcell, 81, of Standish St. passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Plattsburgh on May 15, 1944 the daughter of Armond and Ethel "Rhea" (Gebo) Frederick, Sr.

Lenora attended Plattsburgh High School. She married Ethan " Mac" Purcell at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh on July 15, 1967.

She was a loving and caring Day Care provider for many children in the Plattsburgh area.

Survivors include her sons, Brian Purcell and companion Missy Mooney of Peru, Timothy (Stephanie) Purcell of Plattsburgh; daughter, Niki (Larry) Hughes of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Armond (Bonnie) Frederick, Jr., Brian Frederick; sister, Linda (Rick) Martin all of Plattsburgh; grandchildren, Skyler Purcell, Nova Purcell, Olivia Ferguson, Megan Ferguson, Cole Purcell, Sophia Purcell, Lexie and Gwen Mooney; great-grandchildren, Teddy, Ezekiel, Alice, Corbin, Bode: several nieces and nephews.

Lenora was predeceased by her parents, and her husband.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
