PLATTSBURGH- Leon Powers, 54, of the Town of Plattsburgh, passed away suddenly on April 26, 2019. He was born in Plattsburgh on January 26, 1965, the son of Norman and Lorraine (Parent) Powers.

Leon enjoyed hunting and tinkering with cars and other vehicles.

Survivors include his sons Chad, Tyler, and Cory Powers of Plattsburgh; former wife, Virginia Powers of West Chazy; sister, Shirley (Bruce) Bossick of Zephyr Hills, FL; brothers John (Becky) Powers of Morrisonville; Rusty (Barbara) Powers of Chazy; Ernie Powers of Morrisonville; and Larry (Christine) Powers of Johnsburg, NY; several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

Leon was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Mary Dubrey, Jane McLean, and Rose Deslisle.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 2ndat R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh from 3:00 - 5:00 pm with a service immediately following.
