MORRISONVILLE— Leonard R. Reyell, 89, of Route 22B, passed away on August 26, 2020 at the CVPH Medical Center.

He was born in Plattsburgh on April 12, 1931 the son of John and Rose (Laundry) Reyell.

Leonard served in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1953. He worked numerous construction jobs throughout the area and his last job was maintenance at the Plattsburgh Air Force Base retiring when the base closed.

Leonard was a member of West Plattsburgh American Legion, Post 1619 in Morrisonville.  He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed softball, cheering on Dale Earnhardt, and was an avid New York Yankees Fan.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Pauline Reyell; children, Keith (Pam) Reyell, Cindy (Mark) Seymour and Mark Reyell; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Damiani, Emily (Bryan) Caron, Adam (Celiann) Reyell and Melissa and Matthew Seymour; great-grandchildren, Grace, Nicholas and George Damiani, Nora and Claire Caron and Adelise and Ailah Reyell.

He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Donald (Dorothy) Reyell, sister Barbara (Arthur) Lyman and daughter-in-law, Dolores Reyell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29 ^th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. in St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
