PLATTSBURGH – Lois E. Wanner, 92, of Dennis Avenue, passed away, April 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in North East, MD on July 1, 1929, daughter of George and Almetta (Hutchins) Andrews.

Lois married Rev. I. Robert Wanner in Royersford, PA on August 18, 1951.  Rev. Wanner passed away on March 29, 1981.

Lois dedicated her life to her family and her Faith.  She was very involved with the Church of the Nazarene in Plattsburgh, and for over 17 years ran the daycare at the church known as Mother Love Christian Early Learning Center.  Lois loved to spend time reading and making special memories with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Robert A. Wanner, Dawn (Scott) Sanger, Laurel Wanner, Loyce (Jonathan) Youngmann, Todd (Barbara) Wanner, and April Wanner;  brother, Francis (Bertha) Andrews and sister, Ruth Couchenour;  19 grandchildren;  14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Plattsburgh.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will take place in Cadyville Protestant Cemetery.
