PLATTSBURGH – Lola Burl, 95, Cumberland Head, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Meadowbrook Nursing Facility.

She was born in Plattsburgh on February 15, 1931 the daughter of Lewin and Blanche (Millet) Wilson.

Lola was a graduate of Plattsburgh High School, Loretta Business School and Clinton Community College. She married Kenneth Burl on October 1, 1960 in Plattsburgh.

Lola was a bookkeeper at Condo’s Pharmacy in Plattsburgh for many years.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth and his wife Jo Burl Jr. of Corinth; her daughter Beth and her husband Thomas Trela of Selkirk; grandchildren Marisa Trela and Carmen Trela; several nieces and nephews.

Lola is predeceased by her parents, husband Kenneth, sister Virginia and James Light, half-brother Wendell Wilson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 5:00 to 6:00pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A funeral will follow at 6:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary’s of the Lake Cemetery in Cumberland Head.
