It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother, Lori Ann Frennier. Lori was born on October 13, 1963 and transitioned to her home with the Lord on October 8th, 2026 at just 62 years young. In those 62 years, she touched every life she entered and left her lasting smile embedded in hearts of everyone she talked to. A woman of infinite wisdom, love, intelligence and beauty.
She resided in Beekmantown with our Dad, the love of her life, where she ultimately took her last breath to the most tremendous thunder and lightning storm, after almost a year long, tumultuous battle with terminal cancer with her family at her side.
Driven by the love for her family, Lori's heart beat for her grandkids and children. She lived for the holidays and gatherings with her family, making sure there was a HUGE perfect spread at every occasion. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends in the earlier years, bowling with my father on a league with family and friends and then later in life found her passions to be an avid love of reading, she loved a good sudoku and missed her calling as a professional shopper. (Haha)
She LOVED sitting on her porch to a thunder and lightning storm and at the exact moment of her final breath the most beautiful thunder and lightning storm started.
She worked at Champlain Telephone Company as an accountant for 33 years. After retiring she then decided she was going to pick up a job as a pharmacy tech at Kinney Drugs of Veterans Lane in Plattsburgh. She absolutely LOVED her coworkers and the bonds she formed with her friends here. In fact just two weeks ago, she was determined she was going back to work there when she was healed.
She was the daughter of Richard and Clara Nephew (Hart) of Cannon Corners in Mooers Forks, New York.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Frennier of 43 years married (47 years together); her children Chris Frennier (40) and Fiancé Sarah Leclair, Corryn Frennier (36) and Tyler Frennier (33) and wife Rebekah Frennier ; 5 (soon to be 6) grandchildren Christopher James Frennier (19) Alyssa Frennier (17), Jase Daniels (11) Briar Frennier (1) and Bodie Frennier (1); and one on the way. She also leaves behind her sister Linda Brothers; brother Gary Nephew, wife Tammy; brother Dale Nephew and wife Angela.
She is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Clara Nephew of Mooers Forks; her sister Beverly Nephew; her in-laws who were very much her second parents, Arthur and Winifred Frennier of Lafayette Street in Plattsburgh; husband of sister Linda, Donald Brothers; brother and sister in laws, Kathleen Lozier, Ronald Frennier, Elizabeth Muller, Arthur Frennier Jr.
Our Mother leaving has changed our world. Her presence and love will be greatly missed. We will miss her daily check up calls, face times with the grandkids nightly, the many laughs and kisses. The night time stories in bed with her grandson and all the love she poured to every person who entered her life. She passed away so young and she was so adamant she wasn't leaving because her grandchildren needed her and she needed them. As hard as it is to say goodbye, her suffering and pain is over and she's in the Lords arms pain free.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 15th at R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh from 4:00-6:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 16th at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy at 10:00am with the burial directly after at St. Peter's Cemetery. A meal will follow services in the Emmaus Room at St Peter's Church in Plattsburgh.
This isn't goodbye mom, it's see you later. Love your children,
Corryn, Chris and Tyler.
