Luella A. Germain, 82, formerly of Altona, passed away on September 17, 2023.

She was born on June 11, 1941, the daughter of William and Ethel (Miller) Carter.

She married the love of her life, Harold M. Germain on 9/26/1960. They shared many wonderful years together.

Survivors include her son, Carter Germain and daughter, Robin Germain, two granddaughters, Jessica Allen and Jennifer Germain, two great grandsons, Silas Germain and Jack Frenyea, sister Darlene (Dale) Labombard, sister in law, Betty Carter and several nieces and nephews. Lue was predeceased by her husband, Harold Germain, her parents, three brothers, Floyd, Edwin, Loyal and Leon and two sisters Lenet and Hilda.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22nd from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Louis of France Cemetery in Sciota.
