Lyn M. Goldsmith born on August 9th, 1962, passed away on August 25 at the age of 62. She received her high school diploma in 1981 from PHS. Prior to graduation she had worked at Merkle's Department Store and at Plattsburgh Air Force Base. After high school she completed Our Lady of Victory Secretarial School. Over the years she worked many jobs, she was a manager at Sam's Club, she did Foster Care, ran a daycare out of her home and worked for her future husband at Goldie's Grocery. On August 11th 2007 she married Gregory Goldsmith. Lyn is survived by her husband Gregory Goldsmith, her sister Laurie Hagan & her husband Michael, her sister in-law Punki Duhaime & her husband Pat, her brother in-law Jack P. Goldsmith jr.  3 sons and 1 daughter, Steven Powers, his wife Philomena,  their 5 children, Hailey, Dylan, Rachel, Giovanni, Steven jr. Scott & Karla Powers their children Isabella and Liam. Mindy & Ed Ackey, their children Ryan, Devin & Logan-Philip. Jack Christopher Goldsmith & his partner Kathryn Petrelli.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 4:00pm
