Major Robert D. Wilson, 87, of Lyons Road, passed away August 27, 2018.

He was born in Barstow, IL on April 17, 1931, the son of James and Lillian (Bangert) Wilson.

Robert served as a pilot in the United States Air Force for over 20 years.

Survivors include his loving wife, Diana D. Wilson of Plattsburgh; stepdaughter, Corina M. Downs of Plattsburgh; granddaughter, Erika L. Kollinger and companion Ronnie Wood; sister, Marcella Wilson Redding; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by five siblings, James Wilson, Ernest Wilson, Walter Wilson, William Wilson, and Katherine Wilson Cant.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Plattsburgh Air Force Base Chapel.
