PLATTSBURGH---Marceline M. Provencher, 79, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Addison, VT on June 10, 1930 the daughter of Edward and Florence (Ashe) Abair. Marceline married Eugene LeRoy Provencher in Vergennes, VT on October 7, 1950. She worked as a partner with her husband in different businesses throughout the years. Mrs. Provencher was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club and the Family Motor Coach Association. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Provencher of Plattsburgh; three daughters, Cynthia Kaye Provencher and her companion, Gerald R. Trombley of Hancock, VT, Sherry Jeanne Alberts and her husband, Charles B. III of Dalton, MA and Patricia Jean LaPage and her husband, Karson W. of Plattsburgh; one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Beatrice Abair of Ausable, NY; one sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Herb Haskin of FL; four grandchildren, Kurtis and Nathan LaPage of Plattsburgh and Charles IV and Ashley Alberts of Dalton, MA; step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes, VT. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Addison, VT.
