FLORIDA - Marie N. Gonyo, 92, of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away on January 15, 2021. She was born in Wurtsboro, NY on July 2, 1928 the daughter of Fred and Addie Gagnier.

She married George Gonyo on November 22, 1946 at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy.

Marie was a member of the Tarpon Shores Social Club and Ladies Club.

Survivors include three sons, Keith and Sharon Gonyo of Darlington, SC, Craig and Angela Gonyo of Dawsonville, GA., and Bruce Gonyo and his partner, Harry Clemons of Palm Harbor, Fl.; one daughter, Karen and Craig Traynor of Rochester, MN.; 9 grandchildren, Dr. and Mrs. Kyle Traynor, Dr. Kimberly and Dana Foster, Eric and Jing Jing Gonyo, Michael and Tabatha Gonyo, Kelsey and Jeffery Welling;, Dr. Claire Gonyo and her spouse Brie, Denise Gonyo, Kevin Gonyo and Christopher Gonyo; 2 step-grandchildren, Nora May and Melissa Isabella; 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband George, two sons, Rev. Roland Gonyo and Scott Gonyo and one brother Gerald Gagnier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. Burial will be in St. Joseph's parish cemetery.
