ROUSES POINT – Marilyn J. Ewart, 85, of Lake Street, passed away, March 20, 2022.

She was born in Harrisonburg, VA on December 11, 1936, daughter of Joseph and Hilda (Bedford) Entwistle.

Marilyn attended Our Lady of Fatima Nursing School and went on to work as an LPN for many years, retiring from CVPH Medical Center.

She married Andrew Ewart on October 3, 1959 at Christ Church in Lonsdale, RI.

Marilyn was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, The Redhatters, Lit Club, and the Christ and St. John's Episcopal Altar Guild where she was a communicant for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Andrew Ewart;  children, Steven (Angelique) Ewart, Pete (Sue) Ewart, and Susan Ewart (Laura Apinis);  brother, David (Claudette) Entwistle;  and grandchildren, Alex Ewart, Jake Ewart, and Madison Ewart.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ and St. John's Episcopal Church in Champlain.
