SARANAC—Marjorie M. Waldron, 67, of Strackville Rd., passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at the CVPH Medical Center after a long-fought battle with cancer.

She was born November 14, 1956 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Claude and Elizabeth (Barber) Cook.

Marjorie retired from SUNY Plattsburgh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being outside taking care of her garden, travel, and helping others, especially with her Catholic Daughters group.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence of Saranac; her children Melissa Wrisley and husband Ryan of Plattsburgh, Lawrence Waldron Jr, of Fayetville, North Carolina, beloved grandchildren Andy, Joshua, Liam, Kierstynn, and Avery that were Nana's whole world. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jonathan.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 2nd at 12:00pm at the Church of Assumption in Redford.

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
