DANNEMORA – Michael E. Torres, 66, of Hart Lane, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Born in Palma Soriano, Cuba, on June 2, 1960, he was the son of René and Anaís (Campistrous) Torres.

Michael graduated from Spencerport High School and attended Monroe Community College. He married Judy Lucas in 2013.

Michael enjoyed cooking and writing poetry. A man of deep faith, he found strength and comfort in his relationship with God throughout his life and was guided by his faith in the love he shared with his family and friends. He was an avid soccer fan, especially of Lionel Messi, and faithfully followed the World Cup. He also enjoyed listening to the Eagles as he played the drums.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his beloved daughter, Ashley Torres; his brothers, Gaston Torres and his children, Jordan Cooper and Taylor Plank; and Gustavo (Elena) Torres and their children, Briana Torres and Brandon Torres.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, René and Anaís Torres.

He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love of family, and the kindness he showed to those who knew him.

Memorial donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester.

Services will be held at the Miller of Rochester Funeral Home at a later date.
