Obituary

PLATTSBURGH - Nancy D. Paiser, 74, Cogan Ave., passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington Vt., surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 20, 1946 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Thomas and Immaculata Mary (Davide) Douglas.  Nancy was a graduate of Plattsburgh High School, Clinton Community College and SUNY Plattsburgh, receiving a Bachelor's Degree.

She married Leland Paiser on August 27, 1966.

Nancy worked for Verizon in Plattsburgh for many years, after her retirement she enjoyed working at Flight Line Express at Plattsburgh International Airport. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a supporter of the Seton Booster Club and she was a strong supporter of the Adirondack Humane Society.  In Nancy's spare time she watched the Green Bay Packers, Boston Celtics and Chicago Cubs games on TV. What she loved and cherished the most was spending time with her family.

Survivors include, her son, Christopher (Mary) Paiser of Morrisonville, her daughters, Kristin (Omar) Paiser-Ivory of Ft. Lauderdale, Suzanne (R. Scott) Ewing of Plattsburgh; brother, Thomas F. Douglas of Ft. Lauderdale; sisters, Mary Branning of Marlboro, NY, Donna (Radek) Garlicki of Oakland Park FL; brother-in-law Michael (Susan) Paiser of Alpine UT; five sisters-in-law Cheryl Paiser of Algoma WI, Barbara Gast of Shawano, WI, Penny (Dennis) Rekow of Gresham WI, Susan (Andy) Summers of Green Bay WI, Joan Hoffman and husband Richard Mullen of  Antigo WI; Grandchildren, Ryan Paiser, Victoria Paiser, Olivia Paiser, Dylan Paiser; several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her 2 dogs and cats.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, husband, Leland Paiser, father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Eleanor Paiser, brothers-in-law, Thomas Branning and Derald Gast.

Due to Covid a Celebration of her Life will be private for the family. Burial will take place at a later date in Mount Carmel Cemetery. In Lieu, of flowers, donation to the Joshua Fund at P.O. Box 408 Jay, NY 12941 or joshuafundrescue.org.
