PLATTSBURGH – Nicolaus M. Vagi, 83 of Salmon River Rd., Plattsburgh, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at his home, with his family.

He was born June 2, 1939 in Budapest, Hungary the son of Marton and Rose Vagi.

Nick married the former Aniko Juhasz in Montreal on December 18, 1965. He worked for many years at McKenna Associates in Plattsburgh. In his sparetime you could find Nick on his boat and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Aniko Vagi of Plattsburgh; son Thomas Vagi and Britt Ellison of Nottingham, NH; daughter Christina and Robert Baker of Deerfield, NH; grandchildren Julianna and Elizabeth Vagi of Nottingham, Kellan, Troy and Brooke Baker of Deerfield; two nieces and a nephew.

Nick was predeceased by his parents, daughter-in-law Sarah and his siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22nd from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.  Followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
