PLATTSBURGH – Nikki L. Martin, 47, of Olivetti Place, passed away April 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on September 22, 1975, daughter of Thomas Darrah and Suzette Nephew Pavone.

Nikki was a Senior Payroll Account Clerk for the Town of Plattsburgh for many years.

She loved to go camping, traveling to various places, and especially trips to the casino.  Nikki was a strong and loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend and cherished the times spent with her family and friends.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Brayden Martin and fiancé Jillian Magoon and Jillian Shantie and husband Nicholas;  her parents, Suzette and Richard Pavone;  brothers, Christopher Darrah and Marc (Heather) Pavone;  sister, Jennifer Pavone;  and several nieces and nephews.

Nikki was predeceased by her father Thomas Darrah;  and grandparents, Thelma and Orville Nephew and Jean and Earl Darrah.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23 ^rd from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh.  Burial will take place in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
