PLATTSBURGH---Patricia Ann Williams, 85, formerly of Cliff Haven, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 13, 1927, the daughter of William R. and Camille (Arnaud) Lawson. Patricia graduated from Teaneck High School in New Jersey in 1945. She was a member of the Class of 1949 at Elmira College and later received her BA Degree from Plattsburgh State University in 1987. On May 26, 1950, Patricia married Henry A. Williams at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack, NJ. She worked for two years in New York City as a doctors assistant. Their family spent five years in the Amsterdam, NY area and ten years in Glens Falls, NY area before moving to their former home in Cliff Haven in 1968. Patricia was active in the Clinton County Crisis Center, Homeward Bound Meals, and the Literacy Volunteers. She was an avid bridge player. Survivors include four sons, Daniel R. Williams and his wife Brenda of Corpus Christi, TX, James P. Williams and his wife Cynthia M. of Plattsburgh, Scott R. Williams and his companion Linda Bouvier of Plattsburgh, and Walter L. Williams and his wife Amanda J. of Alexandria, VA; one daughter, Camille Candy W. LaChat of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister-in-law, Margo Lawson of Bonita Springs, FL; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Henry on August 12, 2005. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at1:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date in the City of Glens Falls Cemetery.
