MORAVIA - Paul Lyon, age 64, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Auburn Community Hospital, Auburn, New York. Paul was born on October 29, 1955, in Plattsburgh, New York, the son of the late Robert and Doris (Monty) Lyon.

Paul Graduated from Beekmantown Central School. He was to go on and receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Plattsburgh State University in 1977. Paul was to make his home in Syracuse, New York, and worked for many years at Wegmans Food Stores at their various stores in the Syracuse area. Paul was an avid baseball fan and a loyal supporter of the Montreal Expos. His knowledge of baseball made him a frequent winner in the family fantasy baseball league.

While Paul never married, he is survived by an adoring family. Paul was predeceased by his sister Darlene Lyon. He is survived by his sister Sandra Moore (Charles), nephews Charles Moore (Melissa), Jacob Moore, and Clayton Lyon Tom. He is also survived by his niece Pamela Moore who shouldered much of the responsibility in caring for Paul the past year. Paul is also survived by his great Nephews and Nieces, Jessica Moore, Nicole Moore, Charles Moore, and Braden Moore. He is also survived by his great-great-nephew Christian Moore.

Also, special mention should be made for all the support, kindness, friendship, and love given by Dennis Panagitsas toward the family.

Interment will be in the spring in the family gravesite at Riverside Cemetery, Plattsburgh, New York.
