Pauline Mitchell, 77, of Champlain, NY, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. She was born on February 4, 1947, the daughter of Jerome and Leona (Lagasse) Dupuis.

Pauline graduated high school and went straight to work for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Rouses Point and retired after 42 years of dedicated service.

She married John Mitchell on February 7, 1985 in Chazy. Pauline had a love for all outdoor activities, spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Pauline is survived by her loving husband John, one son, John Mitchell, Jr. (Katriana); three daughters, Lisa LaPorte (Francis), Michelle Burdo (Donnie), Carie DeCoste (Spencer); grandchildren, Mason Mitchell, Gemma Mitchell, Kayla LaPorte, Kyle LaPorte, Joshwa LaPorte, Corey Burdo, Keara Estrada, Steffaney Jabaut, Terrah (Dartanion) Bechard, Spencer Decoste, Shayne Jabaut, Rebbecca Bushey; brother, Richard Dupuis (Kathy), Herman Dupuis, Rolland Dupuis (Lois), Joseph Dupuis (Vickie); sisters, Rose Kloiber, Theresa Carlson (George), Gloria Columbe, Helen Guay (Mike), Marion Matthews (Steve); as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Gerald and Larry Dupuis; sister, Eunice Roberts; brother-in-laws, Robert Miner, Paul Kloiber, John Columbe; sister-in-law, Carol Dupuis.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 (Noon) on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Sacred Heart Church in Chazy, NY.
