PLATTSBURGH--- Philip O'Connell, 84, formerly of Cadyville, passed away June 4, 2019 at Meadowbrook Healthcare.

He was born in Cadyville, NY on May 23, 1935 the son of James and Margaret (Lord) O'Connell.

Philip married Jeannette Smart at the Turnpike Wesleyan Church in 1954.

He was a member of the Cadyville Volunteer Fire Department.

Philip retired in 1997 from Hulbert Brothers as Vice President.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannette O'Connell; son, Terry O'Connell and his wife, Louise; brother, James O'Connell: grandchildren, Katie Laramie and her husband, Josh and Kevin O'Connell and his wife Kathryn; great granddaughter Kenna O'Connell and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister-in-law, Mavourneen O'Connell.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

Entombment will be at Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens, Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh.
