March 13, 1944 – April 12, 2025
Phyllis C Duval, 81, died quietly on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY due to complications of lung cancer. She was held lovingly by her children, and grandchildren as she drew her last breaths.
She was born March 13, 1944, in Ellenburg NY, a daughter of Donald and Avah (Llyod) Peets. Phyllis "Petey" grew up in Ellenburg, graduating from Ellenburg Central School in 1962. She graduated from Syracuse Central City Institute in 1963 and shortly after began her 37.5-year career at the Clinton County Government Offices.

Her most recent hobbies involved reading and watching the professional women's basketball league.
She is survived by her son Gaylord (Donald) Duval (Jamie) of Saranac NY, her daughter, Rhonda Curtis (Dave) of Quechee VT, son Gregg Duval of Plattsburgh NY.
