Polly M. Broomfield, 77, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, surrounded by family. She bravely fought three cancers, but sadly lost her battle. Polly was born on May 31, 1948 the daughter of Anthony Sr. and Edna (Christian) Stoker in Willsboro, NY.

In 1995, she married the love of her life, Robert Broomfield in Hawaii in a double ceremony with her twin sister, Pauline and Michael Hammond.

Polly loved going on vacations and playing golf with Bob. She also loved her shopping trips with her sisters. Polly loved her family and was always there for her children and grandchildren.

She leaves behind her children, Laura (Fabian) Prive, Richard Hemingway and his partner, Doris McIntyre, her step-son, Tom Broomfield and his partner, Nicole Marcelle; grandchildren, Ashley Hemingway, Brooke Tinker, Stephanie (Corey) Plaskus, Scott (Jess) Tinker, Jr., Lily Broomfield, Keegan Kaley and Kenzie Broomfield; great-grandchildren, Naomi, Aria, Carter, Layla, Isabelle, Kayleigh and Oakley; siblings, Suzanne Stoker, Georgianna Bouyea and her partner, Bernie, Wayne (Linda) Stoker, Pheobe Decker, her twin, Pauline (Michael) Hammond, Shirley Connor and her partner, Pat, Anthony (Beverly) Stoker, Jr., Alice Hart and Nancy (Leslie) Ryan; and her two closest friends, Mary Ellen and M.J. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Polly was predeceased by her husband, Robert Broomfield; her infant daughter, Angel Lynn Hemingway; her parents, Anthony and Edna Stoker; brother, Arnold Stoker; sister, Julia LaPier; and her nephew, Harlen Desotell.

Funeral services were held May 14th at the Gerald B.H. Soloman Saratoga National Cemetery where she was laid to rest with Robert.
