PLATTSBURGH – Raymond G. Provost, Jr., 43, of Peru St., passed away unexpectedly on Friday the 13 ^th , which only Ray would have wanted, being a big horror movie fan.

Ray was born in Plattsburgh on September 26, 1979 the son of Raymond and Susan (Mackey) Provost.

He attended Plattsburgh High School; Ray was a quiet man who kept to himself. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He would cherish the holidays, birthdays and cookouts with family, but would always make time for his online gaming buddies, Ray was a true gamer.

Raymond is survived by his mother Susan Provost and her companion Scott Thompson; his brother Shawn Provost; his twin sister Carol Carl and her husband Nelson; his niece and nephews, who affectionally nicknamed him Ray Ray, Madison, Logan, Tyler, Joshua and Gavin.

Ray was predeceased by his father Raymond Provost in 2005 and his sister Amy Jo Provost who passed away at birth.
