PLATTSBURGH – Regina A. Connors, 77, of Foxfire Drive, passed away, December 27, 2022.

Regina was born in Plattsburgh on July 26, 1945, daughter of Albert and Lena (Gonyea) Carron.

She married Gary Connors on January 26, 1991 in Saranac.  Gary passed away on April 5, 2014.

Regina was well known for her kindness and love for her family, friends and sometimes even a stranger that needed a smile. She enjoyed her time working, sitting around a campfire, her Tuesday card games with friends and her weekly outings with family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Smart and Beth Spoor and her companion Bryan Sweeney; brothers, Victor (Wanda) Carron, Raymond (Delphenia) Carron;  sister, Alberta (John) Porter;  step-brothers, Randy (Debra) Defayette; sister-in-law, Sue Carron; step sister-in-law, Elain Defayette; grandchildren, Jessica Spoor, Lee Spoor, Levi Brandeberry, and Shanon Smart;  six great-grandchildren;  nine step great-grandchildren that she considered her own and many nieces and nephews.

Regina was predeceased by her parents, stepfather, Alfred Defayette, grandson, Corey Spoor; brother, Albert Carron and stepbrother, Alen Defayette.

A graveside service will be held in the spring in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
