CHAMPLAIN- Richard Pombrio, 53, of Willow St., Champlain, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at CVPH Medical Center.

Richard was born in Plattsburgh, NY on February 4, 1966 the son of David and Marian (Baker) Pombrio. He grew up in Plattsburgh and lived there until he bought his home in Champlain, NY.

Richard was known for his gentleness, kindness and contagious chuckle. He enjoyed times with family and was always reliable and willing to serve others. He was a hard-working employee at VP Supply in Plattsburgh. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his father, David Pombrio, siblings Patricia Dyer, Susan Pombrio, John Pombrio, and James Pombrio and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
