Obituary

PLATTSBURGH – Robert "Bob" P. Kimball, 69, of Charlene Drive, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Brookfield, NY on July 27, 1949 the son of Melvin and Lillian (Barns) Kimball.

Bob married Sandra Winters on November 26, 2005 in Plattsburgh.

Bob loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, walking and especially cooking. Everyone loved his homemade chicken soup and chili.

Bob was a very selfless person who always cared about others more than himself. He would do all he could for anyone.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kimball; son, Jon and Madison Weber; stepdaughter who he thought of as his own daughter, Heather and Dan Burdo; mother-in-law, Dianna Winters; sister, Sharon Hill; brothers-in-law, Jeff and Debbie Winters, John Winters, Jr. and Chris and Dee Winters; sisters-in-law, Sharon Bushey, Lisa Winters and Jennifer and Eric Bowman; grandchildren, Kaiden Burdo, Colten Burdo and Amelia Weber and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, father-in-law, John Winters, Sr. and brother, Melvin Kimball.

As I live my life, there is moments when the weight of ones life time falls across the vision of another loved ones eyes and the grip of their hand to yours and they say "I love You" as a conversation that sums up every thought, every memory, every moment to hold onto and when to let go. The longest conversation that I had without any spoken word but I love you. I held onto my uncle Bob from the moment I arrived to moment he left. I felt every pain, every regret, every reason for what needed to happen in order to say good- bye to one of the greatest men to walk this earth. I love you too!!!

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donation in his name may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
