Robert P. Ratigan, Jr., 79, of Ellenburg Depot, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 9, 1945, the son of Robert and Alice (Raymond) Ratigan.

Robert attended Plattsburgh High School and SUNY Canton. He retired from the New York State Tax Department. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, riding snowmobiles, ATV riding, and being in the woods. He also enjoyed drinking cheap beer.

He is survived by his longtime partner, Pamela Martin; son, Shane Ratigan; daughters, Shauna (Alfie) Ladue and Jenna Drollette; grandchildren, Morgan Hall, Clare Ladue, Ethan Ratigan, Elizabeth Ratigan, Emily Ratigan, Zeke Ratigan, Lilyana McPherson and Grace McPherson.

Robert was predeceased by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 4919 South Catherine Street, Plattsburgh, NY.
