Obituary

Keeseville – Robert Stanton Warner, 84, of Keeseville, passed away February 4, 2019. He was born on January 21, 1935, the son of Paul and Evelyn (Keep) Warner in East Moriches, NY.

Robert grew up on Long Island where he attended Eastport High School and later graduated from Union College. He married the former Margaret Bond on June 15, 1957 in Baltimore, MD. Robert retired from Middle Country School District where he worked as a teacher and Chairman of the Business Education Department. He was very active member of the East Moriches United Methodist Church.

Robert later moved to the shores of Lake Champlain where he loved building wooden model boats, sailing and boating on Lake Champlain with his family, and traveling. He especially loved traveling the roads of the Adirondacks.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; two daughters, Susan Warner of El Cerrito, CA and Sandra (Ray) Fannan of Apopka, FL; one granddaughter, Jennifer Warner Flower; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, J. Haskell Warner.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Plattsburgh First Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Burial will take place later in the summer in Douglass Cemetery.
