PLATTSBURGH – Robert Wood, 70, of Main Mill St., passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Plattsburgh on July 5, 1951 the son of Allen and Lorretta (Garsow) Wood Sr.

Robert worked for the city of Plattsburgh for 37 years.

He married the former Kathryn Richards on April 14, 1995.

Survivors include his wife Kathryn Wood of Plattsburgh; his children, Brett Harris (Wood), Kole Wood, Kaleb Wood, John Wood, Kimberly Wood, James Wood, Danyelle Phelps, Spencer, Nicole; six sisters, Irene Bushey of Peru, Ann Blahowski of Wells, Sally Kipp of Morrisonville, Rose Smitherman of Colorado Springs, June Bond of Plattsburgh, Robin Beach of West Chazy; three brothers, Kenneth Wood of Alabama, Donald Wood of Clinton, N.Y., Dale Wood of Tennessee; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his parents; son, Robert Wood Jr.; four brothers, David Wood, Charles Wood, Michael Wood, Allen Wood; sisters, Tracey Wood and Patti Nolan.
