SARANAC- Roberta G. "Bobbie" Purcell, 75, of McCutcheon Lane, passed away on May 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Plattsburgh on July 21, 1944 the daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Ahern) Campbell.

Bobbie attended Saranac Central School and Richfield Springs Central.

She married William Purcell in Rochester, NY on June 20, 1963.

Bobbie was employed as a Nurses Aide at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home until her retirement.

She was a compassionate person who spent a lifetime caring for others.

Survivors include one son, William Purcell of Marcy, NY; daughters, Jodi Dashnaw of Saranac and Elizabeth Holland and her husband, Paul of Mohawk, NY; brother, Martin Campbell and his wife, Eleanor of Broadalbin, NY; sister, Frances Jasewicz of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Blake Dashnaw, Hunter Dashnaw, Timothy Purcell, William Holland and Steven Holland; four great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, William Purcell.
