PLATTSBURGH – Roberta Trombley, 78, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2023.

She was born in Potsdam on February 2, 1944 the daughter of Ozais and Pearl (Cook) Butchino.

Roberta married Robert Trombley on February 13, 1960 at St. Peter's Church. He predeceased her on March 17, 2000.

She worked for several years at Clinton County Nursing Home and Meadowbrook Healthcare until her retirement.

Roberta enjoyed crocheting, knitting and bingo.  She was also a talented artist.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Shelby) Trombley, Larry (Keela) Trombley, Robert Tombley, Jr. and companion Fran Cornell, Jeff (Betsy) Trombley and Sandra (Gary) Wells; brothers, Robert Butchino, Royce Butchino and Roderick Butchino;  and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Roberta was predeceased by her husband, Robert Trombley;  daughter, Tina Downey;  and brothers, Rodger Butchino, Ronald Butchino, Reginald Butchino and Richard Butchino.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel.

Burial will be at a later date in St. Peter's Cemetery.
