PLATTSBURGH—Robin J. Simpson, 61, of Dickson Point Rd., passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at her camp, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on June 15, 1964 the daughter of Robert and Sandra (Wood) Simpson.

Robin was a graduate of Peru Central School and OLVA. She was the Administrative Assistant, that kept the medical transports on schedule and the paperwork in order for many years at Varin's Ambulance Service in Plattsburgh.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, camping, floating in the pool, and going for long walks. Robin also liked to keep fit and was always up for a good workout or cool down with yoga. She had a creative side when it came to interior decorating, and a soft side when caring for her fur-babies.

Survivors include her partner in life, Mark Varin, his mother, Delores Varin; her brothers Robert "Bob" and Lisa Simpson, Christopher and Elizabeth Simpson; her sister Julie Simpson and companion Casey Burdeau; nieces and nephews Alexsandra Simpson, T.J. Daniels. Lauren Simpson, Cori-Ann Martineau, Ryan Simpson and Joel Simpson.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the Funeral Home chapel.
