WEST CHAZY - Ronald F. Brunelle, 87, of Lake Shore Road, passed away on December 7, 2025 at the CVPH Medical Center surrounded by his family.

He was born in Plattsburgh on September 6, 1938 the son of Francis and Clara (Carter) Brunelle.

Ronald worked with his father as a mechanic and later as service manager for Vincent S. Jerry & Sons in Plattsburgh for over 30 years. He was a member of the West Chazy Fire Department and an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus in Champlain.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Monique (Forgues) Brunelle; sons, Steven (Carolyn) and Ronnie (Robin) Brunelle; grandchildren, Adam and Aaron and Royce and Rachel Brunelle, sister, Susan (Louis) Peryer; brother, Richard (Robin) Brunelle; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother, David and sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Donald Abare.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00am at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00.

Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church or to the West Chazy Fire Department.
