MORRISONVILLE – Ronald Kowalski, 70, of Jersey Swamp Road, passed away, October 28, 2023.

He was born on April 11, 1953, son of Raymond and Theresa (Zardzewialy) Kowalski.

Ronald graduated from Father Baker High School in Lackawanna, NY and went on to receive a Batchelor's degree from Plattsburgh State University.

He joined the United States Air Force in 1972 and served our country for 20 years until being honorably discharged in 1992.  During this time, Ronald married the love of his life, Mary, on August 27, 1988.

Ronald worked for IBM in Vermont for over 18 years working on the machines as mechanic/repairman.

He enjoyed his time as an avid fisherman and was a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan.

Ronald is survived by his children, Jason Rivers of Morrisonville, Stephanie and Shawn Bourgeois of Champlain, and Samantha and Pete Tyler of Leamington Spa, UK;  siblings, Raymond and Susan Kowalski, Cynthia (Kowalski) and Steven Milbrand, Debora (Kowalski) Wittlief, Christine (Kowalski) and Kenneth Baker, Timothy and Cathy Kowalski, Dr. Peter and Rosanne Kowalski, Paul and Lori Kowalski, and Mark and Julie Kowalski;  grandchildren Kyaira Rivers, Isabelle Rivers, Jordeyn Bourgeois, Tyller Bourgeois, Courtney Tyler, Chloe Tyler, Megan Tyler, and Lara Tyler;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronald was predeceased by his wife Mary on June 18, 2022;  his parents;  and one brother, Gerard Kowalski.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, November 4th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel and burial in St. Alexander's Cemetery in Morrisonville.

Donations in Ronald's memory may be made to the North Country Honor Flight or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
