PLATTSBURGH -Sandra King, 68, of Abenaki Rd., passed away at CVPH Medical Center on Friday, February 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Plattsburgh on February 2, 1952, the daughter of Walter and Bertha (Nephew) Trombley.

Sandra married Ronald King on July 27, 1974 at St. Mary's of the Lake Church. Ronald passed away on August 5, 2003.

She loved spending time with her family. Sandra also enjoyed baking and cooking her great meals and sweet treats for friends and family.

Sandra worked for many years at SUNY Plattsburgh, in food services.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald King, Jr., Craig King, and Justin King; her siblings, Arnold Trombley, Wayne Trombley, Kenny Trombley, Betty Gregory, and Isabelle Cassavaugh; grandchildren, Reanne Shields-King, Alexander Shields-King, Dominick Shields-King and Christian Shields-King; and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was predeceased by her parents, husband, and siblings, Andrew Trombley, Terry Trombley, Joyce Hanen, Sharon King, and Joan Trombley.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 4 to 6pm at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Celebration of Her Life will continue at the VFW #309 in Peru. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery in the spring.
