WEST CHAZY – Sandra L. Rabideau, 65, of Military Turnpike, passed away, October 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Plattsburgh on November 24, 1955, daughter of Clarence and Shirley (LaPier) LaForest.

Sandra married Roy O. Rabideau on September 15, 1973 in Sciota, NY.

She dedicated her life to raising her family and cherished the many memories they made together. Sandra enjoyed listening to her windchimes, and watching the hummingbirds and cardinals at her home. She also loved making all kinds of various crafts.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Roy O. Rabideau; her children, Robert (Vicki) Rabideau and Christol (Dean) Harris; sisters, Melody (Larry) Vassar, Vickie (Pat) Pellerin, Roxanne LaForest, Vanessa LaForest, and Valerie LaForest; grandchildren, Caydence Rabideau and Olivia Rabideau; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra was predeceased by her grandson, Brandon Sorrell and son-in-law, James Mastic.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Louis of France Cemetery in Sciota.
