ALTONA – Scott R. Beatty, 62, of Miner Farm Road, passed away on April 13, 2026 with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Batavia, NY on August 3, 1963 the son of Roland and Catherine (Cook) Beatty.

Scott graduated from Medina High School, and then served four years in the United States Air Force.

Scott was a truck driver for Luck Brothers in Plattsburgh and retired after 34 years of service. On June 21, 2014, he married the former Ann Garren in Plattsburgh.

Scott was a member of the Hog Club and Black Horse Hunting Camp, and enjoyed golfing, hunting, and riding his Harley in his spare time.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Ann Beatty; sons, James and Kristy Beatty and Brandon Honan; daughter, Emily and Justin Seney; mother-in-law, Mary Garren; brother, Brian and Gayanne Beatty; sister, Donna and Jerry Walters; sister-in-law, Denise Parada; grandchildren, Lillian Beatty, Sophia Beatty, Elliot Beatty, Aria Beatty, Isabelle Seney, Isaac Seney and Roczen Barcomb; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Susan Duhaime.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Ronald Beatty and niece, Meaghan Galliher.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 18th beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Twin Bridges VFW, 600 St. John’s Road, Champlain, NY.

Memorial donations may be made to Jane’s Fight Fund, Sky Hope, Altona Volunteer Fire Department or Hospice of the North Country.
