ALBANY – Scott A. Cringle, 68, formerly of Saranac, passed away unexpectedly July 25, 2023.

He was born in Plattsburgh on August 4, 1954, son of John and Alice (Facteau) Cringle.

Scott enlisted in the United States Marines Corp in 1976, and was honorably discharged in 1979.

His happiest moments in life was spending time fishing with his father and brothers.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Cringle;  brothers, Chris and Tammy Cringle, Kenneth and Donna Cringle, Brent and Colleen Cringle, and Chad Cringle;  and several nieces and nephews.

Scott was predeceased by his father John Cringle and one brother, Steve Cringle.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Scott will be laid to rest in the family plot in Assumption Cemetery in Redford.
