PLATTSBURGH – Sue Ann Shaffer, 85, of South Acres Road, passed away on March 1, 2024 at the CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Plattsburgh on December 5, 1938 the daughter of Leonard "Buster" and Ruth (Brockmyer) Harper.

Sue Ann married Ronald Shaffer on June 27, 1959.

She was a caretaker at ARC in Plattsburgh retiring in 2002.

Sue Ann is survived by her husband, Ronald Shaffer; children, Judith (Jeff) Baxter, Carol Kline, Linda (Scott) Douglas, and Christopher (Sherrie) Shaffer; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 9, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's or Diabetes research.
