A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 9:30 a.m. in St. Alexander's Cemetery in Morrisonville. A celebration of Ogden's life will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 1619, Rand Hill Road, West Plattsburgh.
ZEPHYRHILLS, FL –
Susan Jeanne "Oogen" Klinefelter passed away on November 27, 2022 in Tampa, Florida after a brief serious illness.
She was born on April 25, 1960 in Plattsburgh, NY to Lester M. and Norma J. (D'Avignon) Rock.
She graduated from Peru High School in Peru, NY and shortly thereafter moved to Maine to begin her career with New England Telephone Company. She retired from the phone company after 28 years of service.
She lived in Maine, Vermont, and North Carolina before retiring in Florida. She loved and was loved by her Florida community and will be sorely missed by her friends and family. She was "one of a kind" who always lived life to the fullest. Oogen also loved going places with her family and friends, however, it was always a possibility that you could be left behind!
She is survived by her companion, William "Billy" Siskavich of Zephyrhills, FL; three brothers, Michael (Irene) Rock of Schuyler Falls, NY and Punta Gorda, FL, John (Marilyn Begor) Rock of Morrisonville, NY, and Christopher "Hook" Rock of Onchiota, NY; one sister, Marsha (Billy) Wilson of Plattsburgh, NY; nieces and nephews, Steven Rock, Jeffrey (Tracy) Rock, Shannon (Greg) Lischak, Ashley (Chris) Akey, Angela (Jordon) Keleher, and Matthew Wilson; her aunt and uncle, Lynda and John "Jack" Stewart; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; a cousin, Mark Laboy; and two sisters-in-law, Pamela C. Rock and Karen A. Curtin.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring.
