PLATTSBURGH – Susan D. Kovanic, 64, of Oak Street, passed away November 29, 2018.

She was born in Tarrytown, NY on April 11, 1954 the daughter of Leonard and Geraldine (Odell) Grant.

Susan worked for many years and retired from Schonbek in Plattsburgh.

Survivors include her children, Andrew J. Kovanic of Plattsburgh and Melissa Reif and husband Mark of Ellenburg Depot; two stepbrothers, John Detlefs and wife Wanda and Robert Detlefs and wife Jean; four grandchildren, Samantha Reif, Kyle Reif, Brayden Reif, and Amirah Kovanic; and several nieces and nephews.

Susan was predeceased by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3rd from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home.
