Terry John Lagree, 67, passed peacefully on Friday May 20, 2022, with his loving family by his side and listening to his favorite music. Terry was born in Plattsburgh on July 12, 1954, the son of Jack Lagree and Lorraine (McCray) Lagree.

Terry grew up in Dannemora, NY. He had a passion for fast cars as his father owned Lagree's Body shop. Terry loved going to baseball games, concerts, and vacations with his family. He was an avid Montreal Canadians fan. He was proud of his baseball career and won't let you forget he pitched a "no hitter" in Dannemora's Babe Ruth league. It was the summer of '69.

Terry started his career in The Academy of Corrections where he earned Valedictorian of his class in 1977. Then he served his community as a Corrections Officer for 26 years retiring in 2003.

Left to cherish his memory are Jill Amell-Lagree and his four children, Joshua Dean Lagree and his wife Lisa Garcia, and daughters Tara Lagree (Eric Deleel), Jana Lagree, Jori Lagree. His uncle Gary McCray and wife Sandy, their children Angie, Nikki, Ashley. As well as many brother and sister laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry Lagree was predeceased by his mother and father and his cousin Gary Dean McCray.

Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 1619 in Morrisonville on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
