PLATTSBURGH – Thelma "Lena" J. Berger, 55, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT, with her daughter, son and daughter-in-law by her side.

She was born on August 6, 1966 in Burlington, VT the daughter of Thelma Rivers and Ralph Dapo.

Lena was a loving mother and mema to her children, Vanessa Harnden and Wayne Coss, and to all 9 of her grandchildren.

Her life revolved around her kids and grandchildren. She also was known to help out anyone in need.

Survivors include her husband, Karl Berger; her children, Vanessa Costin, her wife Janet Costin and Wayne Coss; grandchildren and all of her many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date by Vanessa.
