ALTONA— Theresa E. Hebert, 86, Alder Bend Road, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Hudson, NH on December 10, 1932 the daughter of Eugene and Rose (Boucher) Jalbert.
Theresa graduated from D'youville Academy in 1952.
She married Richard Hebert at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy in 1953. Richard passed away December 30, 2015.
Theresa worked in retail as a sales clerk for Grand Way Department Store in Plattsburgh for many years. She was also a founding member of the Beekmantown Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed crocheting baby hats for newborns at CVPH Medical Center.
Survivors include her children, Kevin Hebert and his wife, Deborah of Plattsburgh; Kim LeClair and her husband, Curtis of Beekmantown and Kari Stonier and her husband, Michael of Altona; a brother, Gerald Jalbert and his wife, Rolande of NH; sister, Rachel Knight of FL; 6 grandchildren, Christina, Candace, Danielle, Nicholas, Krysta and Harley; 7 great-grandchildren, Chance, Aiden, Emma, Nevaeh, Nyasia, Ellie Mae and Brady and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Richard Hebert and 3 brothers, Russell Jalbert, Joseph Jalbert and Richard Jalbert
Calling hour will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 2nd at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy.
Entombment will follow in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens, Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Beekmantown Fire Department.
